Responding to Societal Challenges through Nature & Cultural Heritage based solutions

The European Commission is organising a stakeholder info day on 8 December 2016, in Brussels.

The aim of the event is twofold:

•To present the updated Work Programme of Horizon 2020, for the 2017 calls related to the EU’s research and innovation funding programme on “Nature-based solutions for urban regeneration and territorial resilience” and ” Heritage-led rural regeneration”.

•To facilitate networking, information exchange and partnerships of actors interested in addressing major societal challenges.

This event will be an occasion for different stakeholders involved in green and blue infrastructures  and Heritage-led regeneration (mayors, planners etc.) with advanced plans and projects, the private sector (in the area of construction, landscape and building architecture, water management, insurance, etc.), civil society organisations, and research organisations to meet, discuss and interact with the coordinators of the selected large-scale demonstration projects, including those on cities as living-labs for nature and cultural heritage-based solutions.
