The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) will take place the 9-12 october in Brussels (European Parliament) and is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. It is an important European networking platform for local, regional, national and European decision-makers and experts and the key event on EU Regional Policy, welcoming over 6000 participants to the more than 130 workshops, debates and exhibitions.

In 2017, the European Week of Regions and Cities will reach its 15th birthday. The main headline of #EURegionsWeek is ‘Regions and Cities working for a better future‘, covering three sub-themes: building resilient regions and cities (#LocalResilience), regions and cities as change agents (#TakeAction), and sharing knowledge to deliver results (#SharingKnowledge).

Advance registration is required and no on-site registration will be possible. Participation is free of charge.
